Remote drum tracks
Real drums, pro sounds
Get real, human drum performances that elevate your songs without the hassle or price of booking a studio. I track everything in my treated studio in Nashville, TN, with professional mics, clean signal chains, and drum tones dialed in to your style.
You get dry multi-tracks, natural edits, and a rough mix so you can hear the vibe right away. Whether you need tight Nashville pop-country, warm Americana tones, or something more textured and indie, I deliver drums that feel alive, sit in the pocket, and make your production hit harder.
How it works
Send me your rough mix and any notes about the vibe you’re going for, and I’ll handle the rest. I drop your track into my session, dial in the tones, and record multiple takes until the performance feels locked in. You’ll get a rough mix to review, two rounds of revisions, and a clean, organized set of multitrack files (drums, shaker, tambourine) delivered to a shared folder. The process is simple, fast, and built to slot straight into your workflow.
File delivery instructions
Record your song to a click track.
Mute the click and bounce the track. I will generate the click on my end. Make sure your track starts at 0:00 and include the BPM in the file name.
Send me a version of the song with NO drums and NO click. Include a bass guitar track if you have one.
Feel free to record a MIDI version of the drums you want to hear and include it in a separate file. It's always helpful to hear the style you're thinking.
Send me a reference track of a song you like the drums on—specify whether you like the drum sounds or the playing style, or maybe it's both?
What you get
You get a rough mix with my drums and 2 rounds of revisions. / Additional revisions are $25, but this is very rare.
You get 11 dry multi-tack drum files in .wav format. / Wet multis are an extra $50, which includes my drum bus and room reverb.
Shaker and tambourine tracks if the song calls for it. / Additional tracks (clap tracks, aux drums, bongos, etc.) are an extra $25 each.
Natural drum edits. I don't use any quantizing or beat detection. You get live-feeling drums that are locked in.
Organized files in a shared Dropbox folder.
Drum tracking rates
I charge between $200 - $275, depending on the song. It really depends on what I’m working with. Sometimes, tracking can take extra time if there are problems with the files you send over. Or if the tempo drifts a bit, it requires additional editing time for me to get things locked in.
Add-ons:
$25/per revision beyond the 2 included
$50 for wet multitracks with my buses and plugins
$25/ per track for additional auxilary tracks beyond drums, shaker, and tambourine (example: clap tracks, bongos, etc)
