FROM MUSICAL ROOTS

Born and raised in Frankenmuth, Michigan, I grew up surrounded by music. Between the Bavarian festivals, school bands, church gigs, punk bands with friends, and a family full of musicians, music was everywhere in my life.

My grandma played just about everything: tuba, fiddle, drums, piano, and hammer dulcimer. Her love for music shaped a lot of who I am today. She even inspired the name of a hometown rock band, Greta Van Fleet.

I picked up my first pair of drumsticks at 3 years old, and I’ve been playing ever since. I’ve lived all over the country making music. Between 2022 and 2024, I toured with Myron Elkins, playing over 250 shows.

Along the way, I’ve opened for artists like Kaleo, The Marshall Tucker Band, Lucero, Marcus King, Charlie Crockett, Blackberry Smoke, Dawes, Whitey Morgan, Shane Smith and the Saints, 49 Winchester, Lukas Nelson, War and Treaty, and The Cadillac Three.

I’ve worked in the studio with Myron Elkins, The War and Treaty, The Verve Pipe, The Avery Set, Garrett Howell, and more.

I have a small home studio in Nashville, TN and I love working with new songwriters to track live drums and produce complete songs. Reach out to discuss your project!

“He’s solid behind the kit. Timely with deliverables, and can provide helpful input when bringing a song to life. He’s as personable as he is professional, which is a huge plus. I would definitely work with him again and highly recommend him.”

“PLAYING FAST AROUND THE DRUMS IS ONE THING. BUT TO PLAY MUSIC, TO PLAY WITH PEOPLE FOR OTHERS TO LISTEN TO, THAT’S SOMETHING ELSE. THAT’S A WHOLE OTHER WORLD.”
